Register below or call Larry Clarino @ 203-451-6565 Ever get that urge to see what it is like to drive on a real racetrack? Now you can, the CIR-PCA‘s HPDE at Putnam Park Road Course! Yes, it is safe. If you are new to HPDEs we will put a PCA certified instructor in your right seat with you. We will teach you how to performance drive your car! And NO, you don‘t NEED a Porsche to drive! Of course, we think it is better if you do. Be sure to tell your friends, you don‘t need to be a PCA member to have fun on a track with us. You do not need a Porsche, you do not need to be a Porsche Club member. Pretty much any kind of car will work. We even get some performance SUVs. The cost will remain the same as the last two years; $475 for all day Saturday & Sunday. (Friday is for experienced instructor/solo drivers only) A huge amount of track time; even beginner groups (D & C-groups) get ten-20/25-minute sessions which works out to as much as 150 to 175 track miles over the two days. That is a ton. You get your own private instructor and a great classroom program, maybe the best in the country. That includes everything but gas & lunch. There is a one-day option. Putnam is very easy on tires, brakes and cars. It‘s very, very safe, but really technical; easy to learn, but very challenging to master. (On-track no fault car insurance is available from several companies) All passing is done with point-by‘s. This is not racing, but high-speed performance driving. You do need a helmet; (SNELL-SA2020 or better certified, DOT helmets are not acceptable.) We do have limited rental helmets.
